Standard shutterply is available across AA, AB, BC and CC grades in thicknesses from 4mm to 32mm. Film-faced shutterply is listed separately in 18mm and 21mm only.

A face + A back. Highest surface quality on both sides for decorative and high-end applications.
A face + B back. Premium front with a good reverse side for visible one-side applications and cabinetry.
B face + C back. A good working face with a rougher reverse side and a common choice for construction shutterply.
C face + C back. Economy surfaces on both sides for budget construction, covered work and temporary use.

Shutterply grades describe the quality of the plywood veneer surfaces. The first letter represents the better face side and the second letter represents the back side.
Highest surface quality on both sides, with smooth clean faces and minimal defects.
Premium front with a good reverse side. Minor variations may be present on the B face.
Good working face with a rougher economy reverse side.
Economy surfaces on both sides. Knots, patches, splits and defects may be present.

Standard shutterply is listed in AA, AB, BC and CC grades. These grades describe the quality combination of the face and back veneers. Film-faced shutterply is a separate product category.
The standard shutterply range covers 4mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 16mm, 18mm, 21mm, 25mm, 28mm and 32mm. Current stock is confirmed during quotation.

The grade indicates surface appearance rather than structural performance. AA offers the highest surface quality on both faces; AB has a premium front; BC is a common working-face construction grade; CC is an economy grade. Thickness, ply count and glue quality should also be considered for structural performance.
